The discovery of Peerspace. Some gifts just fall in your lap.

Life often flows into one smooth motion when you go with the flow. Most people spend their time fighting the current and I’ve learned that finding the flow brings the best impact, opportunity and happiness. Last month I found myself with a jam-packed day. I started in the AM with an Uber to Venice Beach to be on the podcast for the Great Love Debate. After teaching the world my ways in love, I grabbed another Uber to shoot the debut of the new Jamstik at NAMM. Afterwards, I find myself in a car with the sound producer for Jamstik who was telling me about his promo shoot. He showed me the demo and I loved the scenery of the shoot. The long shipping crate and perfectly setup lights made for an edgy shoot that brought the production value up to 11. Knowing the crew who shot it, I was very impressed that they could also create such an awesome set and that’s when he told me they didn’t create it. They rented the set through a site called Peerspace. I had no idea what Peerspace was and I was quickly impressed.

There is now a site for renting out spaces that can be used for everything! Finding shooting spaces has always been a formidable task. I’m well networked and I’d still have to make multiple calls, google searches and get referrals before I could narrow down the selections for our corporate and client production shoots. Peerspace is the Airbnb of event spaces. This innovative technology has now revolutionized space booking. You can easily identify the best space for your next gig in any city with a few clicks. Peerspace is an online marketplace for space and it connects clients looking for space with people who have great spaces to rent out. If you have been struggling to identify the best location for your next film shoot, you don’t have to search endlessly anymore. Peerspace offers a wide variety of awesome spaces in different areas. With this online space marketplace, you will find thousands of hosts offering unique personalized spaces to suit your event’s needs. Naturally, Los Angeles had so many awesome opportunities to up your production game. Editorial and commercial shoots now have options to search a variety of spaces to fit your detailed artistic look. It’s a genius idea. Like many of us, we of course, thought of this idea a long time ago but I for one already had a job. I didn’t have the capital to start this idea but I’m so glad they did! The marketplace needed this gem and now people are able to share all these amazing creative spaces with the public.

Long story short, a week later, Peerspace names Flow Event Group as one of the Top 7 Event Photographers in Minnesota! What are the odds? I just heard about them and somehow they already knew about me! It’s remarkable. I’m certainly slightly bias but I think we could be included as the best event photographers in the country! Jenny and I are special combo in the photography and videography world. We work as one together, never complain and are tough as nails. It also helps that we are excellent at communication, extremely relatable and likable and known for our positive bedside manner. I’ve shot on a moving yacht in Croatia a week out of surgery with my broken collarbone and still nailed it. We’ve done concerts in the pit, worked in below zero temperatures on dogsleds, jumped out of airplanes and each time our energy is never to be outmatched! Living with a zest for life and positivity that is contagious is just part of our natural MO. We love life and the daring adventure of capturing it all. I’ve done the fire walk on the big island of Hawaii and dove down 80 feet, camera in hand, to capture the sea life feast around us. I’ve learned that you know you’re in the right career when you didn’t even pick it but it picked you. Thank you Universe for picking us! Here’s what Peerspace had to say about Flow.
