If you haven’t been to the St Anthony Main area, you absolutely have to. Not only are Rick and I lucky enough to live along the river here, but it’s an area that I always loved coming to during college. It’s perfect for date nights, solo adventures, people watching, puppy watching, and some of the best margaritas (Shout out to Jefe!) With Main Street still on lockdown at the time of Kelsey and Mateusz’s engagement session, it was perfect for being able to walk in the street and take it all in.

Like, I’m a little intimidated by their sense of style BIG TIME. How do they look so badass and adorable at the same time? #GOALS. They were SO much fun to shoot with. They ran around and played with each other, Mateusz was joking around constantly and Kelsey knew how to work that camera. We for real enjoyed their company so much! They’re kind, charismatic, and they definitely don’t take life too seriously, which is our kind of couple!

We hit all kinds of spots in the area we were in before heading to Boom Island Park for sunset. There was a cute nature hideout, an overlook of the city, and even just the streets looked awesome. It started to downpour right as they arrived to our studio, so naturally we opened a bottle of wine and waited it out!

WHEN WE FINALLY HEADED OUT, THAT’S WHERE ALL THE FUN STARTED.

The post-storm skies were beautiful! Plus, its like a magic trick watching all of the people disappear with the rain. Perfect for never having to wait for a spot and being able to feel like the whole area was reserved just for them. From chasing each other, to violent piggy back rides and recreating poses from their parents’ photos, this couple kept us entertained!
