Kallie + Tom | An Encompassing Celebration
A Wedding. An Event. Moonlight Waterskiing. They all have one thing in common. They go a lot better when no one else is in charge, but me.
Kallie and Tom had a unique genius in their wedding planning. They wanted to do it all. So that’s what we did. We started in a gorgeous suite in downtown St. Paul with exploding champagne, and a trolley packed with all of the items they desired. We cruised. They let us pick the destinations. This makes us happy. From an urban wall, to being lost in the woods by Lake of the Isles - let’s have fun and take some pictures with all our favorite people. That’s what we do. We are having so much fun! We even hit moto-i for a cheers on the rooftop, symbolizing the place where Kallie and Tom all began.
I can’t understate the extreme popularity of this couple. People love them. The crowd felt like everyone was injected with the same happy pill. I’m currently in talks with Pfizer on its creation. Custom ordered Juicy Lucy’s were served to the guests by Blue Door Pub. They didn’t offer us any ketchup, mustard or condiments. It’s okay though - I used it as a lesson to my team about what it’s like to rough it. I just felt bad for the cow that knew a perfect dip or aioli would’ve satisfied the experience so much more. Rest in Peace dear cow, you will still be remembered. I can’t be involved in everything. I mean my DJ brought in the florals (as pictured - looking good, Lance) he killed it per usual. We danced. A spontaneous limbo line appeared. The vibe, the energy, the celebration of a couple that is in love, it encompassed us all. I stayed til the very end. I didn’t want it to end. It’s the way you want every wedding to be.
On the drive home, I tried to describe the explosion of happiness that I was experiencing. I could only come up with one comparison... it was midnight, there was a full moon, the lake was glass, we waterskied, clothing was optional, the wind, the feeling of the ski cutting through perfect glass... The memory came rushing back and the inspiration was tonight!
